CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER PROTEIN SCONES

Amazingly soft scones. Healthy, protein packed and perfect for on the go snacking 😋
INGREDIENTS
- 120g Flour
- 2 scoops of Chocolate Critical Whey
- 28g Coconut Flour
- 1 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 2 tsp of Sweetener
- 2 tbsp Low-Cal Maple Syrup
- 2 tbsp of Crunchy Peanut Butter
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 200g Plain Greek Yoghurt
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 180C and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, protein powder, coconut flour, cocoa powder, sweetener and baking powder.
- Add yoghurt, peanut butter, maple syrup and pull together with a spoon to make dough crumbles. Use your hands to bring together.
- Knead slightly till it comes together. Dough should be slightly wet.
- Transfer to baking sheet and shape gently into even sized circles. Space out cut scones. Place in fridge for about 10-15 mins. Brush tops with almond milk.
- Bake for 20-22 minutes until outsides are crusty and still soft to touch. A toothpick inserted into center should come out clean.
